I began my career in 2014 as an animal technician with Biomedical Services at the University of Oxford, primarily caring for Zebrafish and Xenopus frogs.
In 2019, I obtained my Home Office PIL and transitioned to the Jenner Institute in 2020 as an insectary technician. There, I managed the rearing and infection of Anopheles stephensi mosquitoes for preclinical malaria challenge studies. Also in 2020, I contributed to the COVID-19 vaccine trial team, handling sample reception and logging.
Since 2024, I've been a senior research technician with the Vaccine Formulation and Adjuvants group. I now apply my preclinical assay experience to the development and characterization of vaccine encapsulation by microfluidics.
