Lee attended the Keystone Symposium B Cells: Multifaceted Functions and Dysfunctions and presented his work on evaluating the influence of vaccination kinetics on B cell responses. The meeting covered all aspects of B cell immunology, and was an excellent opportunity to gain insights into cutting-edge B cell research. Of particular interest were talks highlighting the role the NLRP3 inflammasome plays in germinal centre and T follicular helper cell activity, how plasma cells respond in different contexts and what contributes to their longevity, and the use of CRISPR engineered B cells in cancer and autoimmunity. During the poster session Lee received a great deal of interest in the project and useful input on future experiments, along with an exciting opportunity for a new collaboration.
